You still need a Facebook account!

Step 1 Create a Facebook account

  • Go to Facebook and sign up (takes 2 minutes)
  • You don’t need to post or use it — it’s just for connection

Step 2 Create a Facebook Page

  • Once logged in, create a Page for your business (or yourself)
  • Name it the same as your Instagram for consistency

Step 3 Link your Instagram to the Page

  • Open Instagram
  • Go to Settings → Accounts Centre
  • Add your Facebook account
  • Link your Instagram to your new Facebook Page

Step 4 Switch to a Business account (if not already)

  • In Instagram:
    Settings → Account → Switch to Professional Account
  • Choose Business (recommended)

Step 5 Connect to TREV

  • In TREV, click Connect Socials
  • Log in via Meta
  • Select your:
    • Facebook Page
    • Instagram account

Instagram access is managed through Facebook (Meta), so even if you only use Instagram, this setup is needed for secure posting.
